Classroom Design

My Classroom

Well friends, I finally have my very own classroom! What a journey it has been. I couldn't be more thrilled to be pursuing my dream job in a classroom full of firsties! It is going to be a great year.

I have linked pictures below of my classroom, if you have any questions, feel free to comment!

Here's what it looked like the day I got my keys.

Here's the finished product!

My labeled math bins in my math area. (My bins were all purchased from Dollar Tree!)

My book shelve, labeled by genre. I used book labels from TheBrownBagTeacher. I love them! (This shelve is awesome! It's two sided!)

The numbers hanging from my ceiling are representative of numbers for literacy stations. Under each number are green baskets in which activities for that particular center are stored.

Yes, I chevroned my desk....

When it arrived in my room it was a dark green and did not match the decor. Nothing a little contact paper can't fix!

My word wall (Excuse the orange counters.... I see a facelift in their very near future also.)

TA-DA!

Here's to a wonderful year full of learning and adventure with my kiddos!
